About

 As a producer at KXAN's Studio 512, my responsibilities include researching current events and finding local organizations in Austin that fit our booking standards. I work with companies directly or through  their PR teams to schedule two or more live segments each weekday. I am fluent in ENPS, which is the program we use to prepare each segment in the live show. During the show, I communicate with the hosts and directors to make sure everything goes smoothly on air and the show times out correctly. I also am responsible for handling the guests, making sure they are comfortable, putting mics on them and gathering social media content. My favorite part of this job is learning about all of the happenings in town and meeting all of the wonderful people that I get to work with.
